More than a cover-up: how to style beachwear

Beachwear isn’t just for throwing over your swimmers or wearing at the beach (although it is perfect for those purposes!).

We created The Holiday Co. beachwear with high-quality fabrics and timeless designs so you could get as many uses as possible out of our pieces. Here’s how to style beachwear, for any location and occasion. No matter where you are, we've got you covered!

Beach to the bar

You don’t want to lug around an extra change of clothes to take you from day to night, especially when you’re on holiday. Inspired by the coordinates trend, our Margot set looks just at home on the beach as it does at the bar. All you need to complete the look is a piña colada.

 Post-swim to pool party

If you want to warm up after taking a dip, a robe is ideal. But we wanted to go one better, so our Luna dress doubles as both a beachy robe AND a glam maxi dress. Simply fasten the buttons and you’re ready to go.

Cover-up to cocktails

The best wardrobe staples can be dressed up or down, right? Bowie is one of our faves for this very reason. You can wear it to the beach/pool/park for a little extra skin protection… then throw on a pair of heels and sparkly earrings, and it’s an instant party dress!

Seaside to shopping

Casual and cute, we wanted to create a double-duty summer dress you could easily slip over swimwear. But Sienna looks just as chic at the beach as she does in the city, with bell sleeves and subtle stripe details. To complete the look, pair it with Birkenstocks and statement sunnies.

 Surf’s up to Sunday brunch

Have a friend date but no time to change? Our Lola top is perfect for sun protection, but you can also pair her with jeans or a skirt for the chicest casual weekend outfit. The tie details also let you be as covered up as you like.

We’ve got more in store…
